Optimized venous drainage during MICS procedures
Smart Drainage Device (SDD) is a unique and innovative solution to improve venous drainage during cardiopulmonary bypass procedures. SDD is inserted like a standard cannula through a peripheral approach.
After insertion, the stainless-steel device is capable to modify its diameter and automatically expand in situ. Its unique construction, once expanded, continuously drains along the entire length of the cannula allowing for superior drainage compared to standard cannulae, without the need for VAVD technique.
A full range of lengths and sizes allows you to tackle femoral and / or jugular insertions to perform the vast majority of peripheral cannulation techniques.
