Smart Drainage Device
Smart Drainage Device (SDD) is a unique and innovative solution to enhance venous drainage during MICS procedures. SDD is inserted as a standard cannula through a peripheral approach.
After insertion, the stainless-steel device is able to modify its diameter and expand automatically in situ. Its unique construction, once expanded, drains continuously along the entire length of the cannula allowing for an empty heart and superior drainage return without the need of VAVD technique.
